Your Questions…Answered.
WHERE CAN WE SHOOT?
Indoor studio with a backdrop and/or some props — we keep it simple but happy to work with you.
On Location: Your favorite local spot, even if it’s your house.
Adventurous: If it's a mini road trip to a river or trail we can work out the details and make it happen.
HOW DO YOU MAKE MY DOG COMFORTABLE ON SHOOT DAY?
Before the shoot, be sure to give your dog time to play, work out some energy and even do their business. After you arrive, we include time for your dog to sniff around, lick the camera gear 🙂 and give kisses so they are comfortable and ready to show off. We always adapt to what your dog needs.
WHAT ABOUT SAFETY?
In Studio: Your dog will be the only one in the room so leash-free is perfect once they get used to all the new surroundings.
Outdoors: We like leash-free if you can keep your dog focused and safe. If leashes are needed we can edit them out.
WHAT ABOUT GROOMING?
Not required so that is your choice – you know what makes your dog look their best! If they need grooming get it done close to the shoot day so they look fresh. If they just need a good brush and trim, great. Just make sure we can see their eyes. We will have stuff on hand but bring what makes your dog look like a superstar.
WHAT DO I BRING?
We will have some treats and toys on hand but we encourage you to bring what motivates them. If you love to dress them up, bring on the swag!
WHAT IF MY DOG IS UNCOOPERATIVE?
So long as your dog doesn't bite my shooty-finger (official term), we are patient and relaxed and want you and your dog to enjoy the process so we can get great photos. It may take some coaxing with extra treats, petting and distractions but we will make it happen.
Rescheduling?
Life happens and we can relate. We will work with you on getting you back on the schedule.
PAYMENT?
All packages require payment in full at the time of booking. $150 of your payment is a non-refundable retainer. If you cancel for any reason within 14 days of your photoshoot you will be refunded your payment minus the retainer.
